Khanpur is  Tehsil of the Rahim Yar Khan District, Bahawalpur Division, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is the 45th-largest city of Pakistan by population, according to the 2017 census. . Khanpur has a hot desert climate  with hot summers and mild winters. Rainfall is low, but some rain does fall in the monsoon season from July to September.

       The Govt. Associate College Khanpur road Sahja is located at a distance of 10 km from the city Khanpur. The  Campus is spread over 32 Kanals of land. The College  has 12 class rooms,8 labaratories,computer lab., Library and bus  which provides transport facilities to students and staff
